Abstract

LatarBelakang: Covid-9 telah menjadi pandemi dunia. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh virus SarsCov-2 yang ditularkan melalui droplet ataupun kontak langsung dengan virus melalui perantaraan benda atau tangan. Tangan sering menjadi media punularan virus. Untuk itu diperlukan tindakan mencuci tangan dengan langkah-langkah yang benar guna menghilangkan/membunuh virus sehingga penularan dan penyebaran virus dapat dicegah. Belum semua masyarakat mengetahui dan melakukan kegiatan mencuci tangan sesuai langkah dan prosedur yang benar. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai langkah mencuci tangan yang baik dan benar guna mengurarangi penyebaran covid-19.


Metode: Presentasi dan peragaan terhadap pengunjung Puskesmas Air Tawar


Hasil: Kegiatan penyuluhan berjalan lancar dan respon pasien puskesmas peserta PKM cukup baik. Peserta yang hadir berjumlah 24 orang. Tim dosen FK Unbrah yang hadir 6 orang serta mahasiswa yang ikut berpartisipasi berjumlah 30 orang.


Background : Covid-9 has become a global pandemic. This disease is caused by the SarsCov-2 virus which is transmitted through droplets or direct contact with the virus through objects or hands. Hands are often a medium for transmitting the virus. For this reason, it is necessary to wash hands with the right steps to eliminate/kill the virus so that the transmission and spread of the virus can be prevented. Not all people know and carry out hand washing activities according to the correct steps and procedures. For this reason, it is necessary to disseminate information to the public regarding proper and proper hand washing steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19.. Method : Presentation and demonstration to visitors to the Air Tawar Health CenterResult: The outreach activities ran smoothly and the response from the PKM participants was quite good. There were 24 participants in attendance. The team of FK Unbrah lecturers who attended was 6 people and 30 students who participated.
