PENGARUH STIMULASI SENSORY FAMILY’S AUDITORY TERHADAP TINGKAT KESADARAN PASIEN CEDERA KEPALA

Abstract
Cedera kepala merupakan suatu trauma atau cedera yang mengenai kulit kepala, tulang tengkorak dan otak. Biasanya, pasien diawali dengan penurunan kesadaran sehingga membutuhkan pemberian stimulasi lebih awal. Stimulasi yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran yaitu stimulasi auditory menggunkan suara keluarga, sehingga peneliti ingin meneliti pengaruh stimulasi sensory family’s auditory terhadap peningkatan kesadara pasien cedera kepala. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh stimulasi sensory family’s auditory dalam meningkatkan kesadaran pada pasien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Ekperimental dengan design one group Pretest-posttest. Popoulasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien cedera kepala yang mengalami penurunan kesadaran. Jumlah sampel 20. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan metode consecutive sampling, sebelum diberikan terapi peneliti melakukan pre-test, terapi stimulasi stimulasi sensory family’s auditory diberikan selama 5 hari dan pada hari kelima dilakukan post-test. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu uji paired sampel T-Test. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan adanya pengaruh stimulasi sensory family’s auditory dalam meningkatkan kesadaran pasien (p= 0.00) Dapat disimpulkan bahwa stimulasi sensory family’s auditory merupakan terapi adjuvant dari terapi farmakologi dan memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan kesadaran pasien, keluarga dapat membantu mempercepat peningkatan kesadaran pasien. Sehingga disarankan untuk melibatkan keluarga dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien yang mengalami penurunan kesadaran.
