HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH ORANGTUA DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN SOSIAL ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH

Perkembangan sosial anak usia prasekolah dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah pola pengasuhan yang diterapkan oleh orangtua. Cara orang tua mendidik dan membimbing anak berperan penting dalam membentuk kemampuan anak dalam berinteraksi, beradaptasi, dan membangun hubungan sosial dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan sosial anak usia prasekolah. Rancangan deskriptif korelatif digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan metode cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada wilayah kerja Puskesmas Padang Pasir, Puskesmas Ambacang, dan Puskesmas Belimbing Kota Padang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 80 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data pola asuh orang tua dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Parenting Style Questionnaire, sedangkan perkembangan sosial anak pasekolah menggunakan kuesioner Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ). Uji Chi-Square digunakan untuk analisis data. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua memakai gaya pengasuhan demokratis yakni sebanyak 46 responden (57,5%) dan sebagian besar anak prasekolah memiliki tingkat perkembangan sosial dengan kategori normal sebanyak 52 anak (65,0%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,002 (p<0,05), yang menandakan adanya keterkaitan bermakna antara pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan sosial anak usia prasekolah.
